Cut & Paste is a live round based battle between designers. In previous it was strictly a 2D competition, but it looks like this year their going all out and including 3D and motion into the mix. The 2D rounds are what they have been for a while – three 15 minute rounds. For 3D it’s two 20 minute rounds. Lastly for motion it’s going to be one 8 HOUR round! All live in front an audience. I’m curious to see if people will actually stick around for 8 hours to watch some dudes sit at a computer. Maybe they only let the audience in near the end?
