There are few things that I know of that combine illustration, papercraft, furniture design, and a clever idea into one little package. Milk Gone Bad is a series of lamps that, when turned off, just look like a plain white milk carton. But, when turned on, the lamps show the germy worlds brought about by the rotten milk.

The lamp comes in 8 designs, all of which can be seen at thedieline.com. I particularly enjoy design #8 where the little germy guys are trying to escape the carton.
