One of the first things I discovered when I moved to Minneapolis 3 years ago was the Surly Brewing Co and their fine assortment of lovingly-made beers. So when I heard they were having a contest to design their new coasters, I had enter. After looking for inspiration—i.e. drinking some Surly Furious—I came up with this design.
