Big Ballin’
I may make this available as a wallpaper as I’m not really sure what else to do with it.

Lettercult.com has released their list of The Best in Custom Letters 2009 and I’m proud to say I’m included! Three of my pieces made it in among work from some of my heroes. Check out the full list
You may have noticed the site slowly changing over the past few weeks. I’m trying to refine navigation, design a better shop, make my blog more meaningful–you know, fun stuff. In this effort, I’m going to reduce my rss feed to just blog posts. I think it’ll let me present things like downloads and new work in a more controlled way. It’s kinda messy when I launch a new download or post a new project in my portfolio then a blog post about its process, you basically get the same post twice.
If this doesn’t end up working out, I’ll revert back to a master feed. I’ll just wait to see how it goes.
I know I said I was going to stop at 30 but it’s just way too much fun. I won’t be making stuff everyday though. I’ll just post after every five like I’ve been doing.
Note: The sketches were made during my trip to Boston so there was no computer access.

My design “Bitter Enemies” is up for voting on Threadless. Please check it out and give a vote if you like it!
Here’s days 6 – 10. I’ve decided that I’m going 30 days. I’ve heard some people are commit to a whole year straight which exhausts me. With the a full time job and Make Something Cool Everyday, there just isn’t time for longer, more significant self motivated projects. It’s unfortunate because one of my unspoken resolutions for 2009 was to create more self-motivated art. I’m at a comfortable place in my design career now I really want to jump back on the art train.

I believe Make Something Cool Everyday was started as a flickr group by Olly Moss. (Here’s what started it all)
Unfortunately I didn’t discover it until February so I had quite a late start. Here’s my first five.
